Simplicité® business objects

This document applies to version 3.0 MAINTENANCE 20 and above.

It describes how to configure and use remote Simplicité® business objects.

To configure a remote Simplicité® business object the Table field value must be service-simplicite.

The configuration of the remote Simplicité® business object is then set in the Filter field as JSON:

    "name": "<logical name of remote business object>",
    "credentials": "<name of the parameter containing the credentials>"
    [, "debug": true|false ]

Nothing else needs to be configured as the remote business object configuration is dynamically processed to build the local logical business object.

Note: the debug mode generates verbose logs, avoid enabling it when you don't need it

The credentials, that can be shared among several business objects of the same remote instance are configured as JSON in a system parameter (either a global server parameter or a user server parameter):

    "url": "<instance base URL>",
    "username": "<user name>",
    "password": "<user password>",
    "encoding": "<instance encoding (optional) defaults to local instance encoding>",
    "http_timeout": "<HTTP requests timeout in milliseconds (optional) defaults to 30000>"

Note: multiple credentials can also be configured if you need to access to several remote instances.
